Shraddha Kapoor, last seen in the horror-comedy Stree 2, has yet to reveal her next project. However, a new report suggests she might team up with Tumbbad director Rahil Anil Barve for her upcoming film. Details remain under wraps for now. The project will be produced by Ekta Kapoor.

Pinkvilla has reported, “Shraddha has been in talks with Ekta Kapoor for multiple films and one of them is a high-concept thriller developed by Rahi Anil Barve. The script is locked and Shraddha was bowled over by the uniqueness that Rahi’s story has to offer. She is all excited and believes that the yet untitled thriller could be a perfect follow up to Stree 2.”

“Apart from the film with Tumbbad filmmaker, Shraddha is also discussing a love story with Ekta, which will be directed by Aashiqui 2 fame Mohit Suri, marking her reunion with Aditya Roy Kapur. There are some other projects too under consideration for the actress, the details of which have been kept under wraps for now,” the source added.

Meanwhile, Shraddha Kapoor is preparing for the Naagin Trilogy, a high-budget project helmed by director Vishal Furia. The Stree star will undergo a complete image transformation to portray the lead role in this ambitious venture. Not long ago, rumors swirled that the Naagin Trilogy had been sidelined due to its hefty budget and a sluggish phase in Bollywood. However, producer Nikhil Dwivedi has put those speculations to rest. In an exclusive interview with The Times of India, Dwivedi debunked claims of the project being delayed, stating, “Shraddha Kapoor-starrer Naagin Trilogy is very much on cards.”

The Naagin Trilogy is being crafted as a cinematic take on the popular folklore of female serpents. In an earlier interview, director Vishal Furia revealed that Naagin would reimagine the beloved character in a fresh, innovative way. The project stems from Nikhil Dwivedi’s vision and aims to create an entirely new universe for the iconic figure. Both Nikhil and Vishal are thrilled about the franchise, which will rely heavily on VFX to bring its world to life.
