Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan had no film releases in 2024, with his most recent project being Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki, which hit theaters in December 2023. The movie is set to begin production in March 2025, and is slated for a worldwide release in 2026.

Recently, Shah Rukh Khan attended an event at Global Village in Dubai, UAE, where he dropped hints about King. “I’m not just shooting it here; I’ll be filming in Mumbai too when I return in a couple of months. My director, Siddharth Anand – who’s quite strict and previously made Pathaan – told me, ‘Don’t spill details about the film or what you’re doing in it.’ So, I can’t say much, but I promise it’ll be entertaining and a lot of fun,” he shared.
