Well, for those who don’t know, Charithra was born in Scotland in 1997 to Tamil medical professionals. She grew up in Tamil Nadu with her grandparents after her parents separated when she was two years old. A few years later, she returned to the UK and did her schooling in Liverpool. She settled down with her mother in Oxford and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the New College of the University of Oxford.
The 28-year-old actress decided to make a career in acting, having done theatre during her college days. She decided to do so during her gap year after college. In 2021, she was seen in a prominent role in Alex Rider. After making her film debut with a small role in the Marvel film Eternals, as a Bollywood dancer, she made her breakthrough by essaying the role of Edwina Sharma in Bridgerton season 2, alongside Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley.

Charithra Chandran then went on to play the role of a young Francesca in Dune: Prophecy, a recurring role. Tabu played the adult version of the same character. She will now be seen in season 2 of the live-action adaptation of One Piece. She will be essaying the role of Nefertari Vivi.
